Yard sale permits can be purchased at City Hall, 202 3rd Ave. East, if they occur within the city limits. The cost of a yard sale permit is $5 each day, limited to 3 days whether consecutive or not in a 90 day period. 

 

If you have a yard sale at a business, you must get written permission on a letter head or business card stating you have permission to be on their property and signed by the owner.

 

You must remove all signs immediately after yard sale and note that signs are never permitted on utility poles.

If you are over 65 there is no charge for a yard sale permit.
